Board Members Wanted

Bike Northland is seeking board members. This is a voluntary position in a not for profit organisation for people who would like to give something back to the wider community. You don’t actually have to be a cyclist to apply.

Due to the development of a Bike Park and multi-user facility at William Fraser Memorial Park on Pohe Island in Whangarei and delivering Bikes in Schools and associated cycle skills training , Bike Northland has grown significantly in recent years. With this growth, Bike Northland’s members have recognised the benefit of getting the right people with the right skills governing the organisation under a fit for purpose governance structure to ensure its continued success.

If this is of interest to you and you have been involved in a governance, strategic planning, financial management, communication or marketing role in the past and would like to contribute to what has the potential to be a very positive future for Bike Northland, we encourage you to apply to be a board member of Bike Northland Incorporated.

For further information about Bike Northland that might help you decide if this is for you or not, please contact Stuart Bell at the email address below or phone 021 625115.

To apply please email your CV to before the 20th of December 2017 detailing any skills you have that you would bring to the Board and any current or past positions you have held in not for profit and/or other organisations. A covering letter detailing your reasons for wanting to be on the Bike Northland Board at this time would also be appreciated.
